There are many Chaohu folk songs named with numbers of four ,five ,ten and twelve , w hich are taken as structural elements .In order to analyze the cultural thoughts of this kind of folk songs , the article expounds “time sequence” and “numerical order” folk songs by musicology and cultural anthropology .T hrough the synchronic and diachronic comparison ,the climate and phenology in a lunar month ,time narratives and the digital concept in Chaohu folk culture are pointed out .%巢湖民歌有许多以“四”、“五”、“十”、“十二”等特定数字命名的歌曲,它们作为结构素重复出现。为解析这类民歌数字背后隐喻的文化思想,这里试从音乐学和文化人类学角度阐述了包含十二月体、四季体、五更体的“时序体”民歌以及“数序体”民歌,通过共时和历时的对比,指出巢湖民歌背后隐喻的月令文化、时间叙事和数字观念。
