美国主流报纸对中国阅兵报道态度差异研究——基于评价理论视角

摘要

2015年9月3号,中国政府在北京举行了以纪念中国人民抗日战争胜利暨世界反法西斯战争胜利70周年为主题的阅兵活动,引起了美国各大新闻报纸的关注.以评价理论的态度和介入系统为研究视角,从词汇意义层面,对美国4家主流报纸有关中国阅兵的4篇报道进行分析,以揭示报道中评价资源的分布特点和差异,由此窥探美国主流报纸在对此活动报道中所体现的态度差异.%On September 3, 2015, China staged a massive parade to commemorate the 70th anniversary of the victory of the World War II.This event aroused the concern of all major newspapers in America.Taking 4 reports about this event from 4 mainstream newspapers in America, this paper conducts an analysis at the lexical level from the perspective of appraisal theory, with a view to discovering the differences in the distribution features of appraisal resources, namely attitude and engagement resources.These differences cast light on the different attitudes of the main newspapers towards China's military parade.By treating the textual appraisal resources in the reports discriminatorily, this study is meant to describe and display the differentiated stands and attitudes of major American newspapers towards events in China.
