Objective:To Evaluate the efficacy of traditional Chinese medicine and balance acupuncture therapy on cervical vertigo. Methods:63 patients with cervical vertigo were randomly divided into 2 groups. The control group was given the traditional Chinese medicine and the the treatment group was given the traditional Chinese medicine and balance acupuncture. These clinical effects in 2 groups were evaluated after treatment. Results: Scores after treatment in 2 groups were significantly increased. There were some obvious differences in scores at the 3rd day and the 7th day of 2 groups after treatment. Meanwhile,the score in the treatment group was higher than that in the control group. In the 14th day,there was no remarkable difference in 2 groups. Conclusion:Both treatments for acute cervical vertigo have certain effects in the symptoms improvement and the quality of life. The short-term effect in the treatment group is superior to that in the control group.%目的 进行平衡针结合中药辨治颈性眩晕的疗效评价.方法 纳入颈性眩晕急性发作患者63例,随机分为两组,对照组根据辨证使用中药治疗,治疗组在中药治疗的基础上加用平衡针治疗,进行疗效评价.结果 两组治疗后积分较治疗前有明显提高；治疗组治疗后第3日和第7日评高于对照组；治疗第14日两组评分差异无统计学意义.结论 两种疗法对颈性眩晕急性发作的症状及生活质量有一定改善作用；治疗组治疗颈性眩晕急性发作的近期疗效优于对照组.
