CAD System of Microprogrammed Digital Systems

＜正＞ This paper describes the Computer Aided Design System of Microprogrammed Digital Systems（CADSMDS）.CADSMDS consists of three subsystems:Register Transfer Level Description Language（RTLDL）,General Micro Code Generation System（GMCGS）and General Microprogram SimulationSystem（GMSS）.This system could be used for the generation of microcode,specification and design ofhardware system,and simulation and verification of microarchitecture and micro code.It is an automaticdevelopment and design tool for microprogrammed digital systems.This proposed system is implemented inan IBM-PC/XT.The paper describes the design strategy,the features,the structure and some applicationsof CADSMDS.
