In order to further improve the interaction efficiency between users and GUI, considering the differ-ence of search rate in different positions of icon panel, a design method of matching icon utilization and easy search rate is proposed. By designing icon search and click experiments, the relationship between easy search rate of 8 common style panels and location of icons is investigated. Firstly, the variance analysis of experimental re-sults shows a significant difference in the easy search rate between different positions of GUI icon panel and dif-ferent style panels. Then the grey-scale map of easy search rate is drawn, indicating that panel layout for the ho-rizontal from left to right and vertical from top to bottom the easy search rate shows a downward trend, easy search rate of the maximum position in the horizontal is almost in the left side of the panel and the vertical posi-tion at the top. However, when the panel style is horizontal above, the minimum position is in the middle of the right side, and for horizontal down, on the far right; when the panel style is vertical, the minimum position is near the bottom of the panel. Verification results show that the use of design method of matching utilization and easy search rate can significantly improve the efficiency of GUI interaction.%为进一步提高用户与 GUI 的交互效率,考虑图标面板不同位置的易搜索率差异,提出一种图标利用率与易搜索率匹配设计方法.该方法通过设计图标搜索与点击操作实验,考察8种常见样式面板的易搜索率与图标位置的关系.首先对实验结果进行方差分析,结果显示 GUI 图标面板不同位置及不同样式面板之间的易搜索率存在显著差异.然后绘制面板易搜索率灰度图,结果表明:面板布局为横向时面板从左到右易搜索率呈现下降趋势,为纵向时自上而下呈现下降趋势,易搜索率的极大值位置在横向时几乎都位于面板最左侧,纵向时位于最上方; 但面板样式为横向上方时,极小值位置位于面板右半侧中间,在横向下方时位于最右侧; 面板样式为纵向时,极小值位置靠近面板最下方.验证实验结果证明,采用利用率与易搜索率相匹配的方式可以显著提高GUI交互效率.
