摘要

The most noticeable feature of Chinese classical poetry is their rich images and appealing ideorealm. The images in translation are not only the precious topic for discussion but also the key and difficulty in the translation of Chinese classical poet- ry. Hermeneutic give us a new perspective for translation study, and successful poetry translation is the realization of the fusion of horizon. The theory of fusion of horizon is used to analyze the images translation by professor XU Yuanchong in order to bring us lots of lessons and inspirations.%中国古典诗词最鲜明的特点是拥有丰富玄妙的意象和耐人寻味的意境。诗词中意象的翻译一直是值得探究的珍贵话题，也是中国古典诗词翻译的重点和难点。近年来，阐释学为翻译提供了新的视角和理解，成功的翻译应该体现主客体的视域融合。从阐释学视域融合的角度分析许渊冲先生古典诗词中的意象英译现象，旨在为中国古典诗词的英译带来借鉴和启示。
