Through research the author concludes that the social mood and ideological traits of party andgovernment cadres tend to be positive in the reshaping period of Chinese society. While men andwomen’s mood and ideology are basically idenhcal, there are also distinctive differences between thetwo sexes-differences which, to some extent, reflect the relationship between sexual distinction andpolitics in the social changes in China.
