2005年,世界卫生组织开始推行《全球长者友善城市建设》计划,并以此作为推动全球应对人口老龄化的长期策略和方案。香港于2008年结合本地实际,将此演绎为香港版的“长者友善社区”,鼓励社会各界通过推动长者参与、发挥长者潜能,共同促进社区环境和设施的改善,让香港迈进老年友好型城市。本文主要阐述香港长者友善社区的概念、内容和做法,并简要分析其经验。%The aging of the population showed a global trend, the World Health Organization regards the elderly population as a resource for families, communities, the economy, supporting the development of society. In 2005, the World Health Organization launched the Global elderly-friendly urban development program, as a response to an aging population driving global long-term strategy and programs. In 2008,Hong Kong,taking its current situation into consideration, established its elder-friendly community, encouraged the people of all circles improve community environment and facilities by promoting the elderly participation and reaching the elderly full potential and made itself into elder-friendly city. This paper discusses the concept, content and practice of Hong Kong's elderly-friendly community and analyzes in brief its experience.
