The selection of Secretary General is full of big political power. It is the inevitable result of the political game among the five permanent members of the Council. In the practice of the collision and compromise between the great powers, the special Secretary General selection mechanism and rules have been formed.%联合国秘书长作为联合国首席行政长官和国际关系的重要参与者，其重要作用日益凸显。历任秘书长的遴选都充斥着大国政治的身影，是五大常任理事国政治博弈的必然结果。在大国政治相互碰撞与妥协的实践中，形成了特有的秘书长遴选机制与规则。
