Lucky Jimis a novel that reflects the social reality of British society in the 1950s.The protagonist Jim is common but special in the British society at that time.This article intends to analyze Jim's image and experiences from the perspectives of personality mask and Anima,which are included in Carl GustavJung's"mental structure of person",to reveal the intrinsic meaning of the novel as well as the social reality of that time.
