基于螺旋状液晶的非制冷红外探测技术研究

     

摘要

针对制冷型红外探测器需要制冷、造价昂贵、体积庞大、读出电路复杂并且不能在常温下工作等缺点,基于液晶的旋光理论和热光性质,研究了一种新型非制冷光学读出红外探测技术。通过设计相应的光路测试了螺旋状液晶的温度旋光特性,实验结果显示在20~42℃温度范围内,光强随温度变化显著。利用螺旋状液晶这种敏感的温度效应搭建了一套液晶非制冷红外探测系统,该系统不需要制冷器,结构简单,可以在常温下工作、能够实现光学读出。%  Cooled infrared detectors are expensive, large, complex in readout circuit and can’t work at room temperature, in order to avoid these drawbacks, a new type of uncooled optical readout infrared detection technology was studied based on optical rotation theory and thermo-optic characteristics of liquid crystal. In this paper, helical liquid crystals temperature optical rotation characteristic was tested through the corresponding optical path and the experimental result showed that light intensity changed significantly in range from 20℃ to 42℃. A set of uncooled infrared detection system was created by means of the sensitive temperature effect of helical liquid crystals, this system does not require cooler and has simple structure. It can work at room temperature and realize optical readout.
