The chromosome numbers and karyotypes of the shoot tips of the wild species and cultivars of Lonicera japonica Thunb. were analyzed by common pressing plates method of preparing mitotic chromosomes sample to reveal the genetic and evolutionary relationships of the wild species and cultivars of L. japonica. The chromosome number of the wild species of L.japonica was 2n=2x=18. The relative length of chromosome was 2n=18=6L+6M2+4M1+2S. The karyotype formula was K (2n)=2x=18=12m (2SAT)+4sm (2SAT)+2st (2SAT) and belonged to 2B type. The As.k was 63.78%. The chromosome number of cultivar L. japonica was 2n=2x=18. The relative length of its chromosome was 2n=18=4L+8M2+4M1+2S. The karyo-type formula was K (2n)=2x=18=lOm+6sm+2st (2SAT) and its karyotype belonged to 2B type. Its As.k was 64.47%. The results showed that L. japonica was transitional type from symmetrical to asymmetrical evolutionary species and was relatively evolutionary form The cultured tree L. japonica closely related to the wild and had more advanced evolutionary level than the wild.%为揭示野生种与栽培种金银花(Lonicera japonica Thunb.)遗传亲缘关系及进化程度,以野生种和栽培种金银花的茎尖为材料,采用常规压片法对两者的染色体数目和核型进行了比较分析.结果表明,野生种金银花的染色体数目为2n=2x=18条,相对长度组成为2n=18=6L+6M2+4M1+2S,核型公式为K(2n)=2x=18=12m(2SAT)+4sm(2SAT)+2st(2SAT),属于2B型,核型不对称指数为63.78%;栽培种金银花的染色体数目为2n=2x=18条,相对长度组成为2n=18=4L+8M2+4M1+2S,核型公式为K(2n)=2x=18=10m+6sm+2st(2SAT),属于2B型,核型不对称系数为64.47%.金银花染色体核型属于由对称向不对称演化的过渡型,栽培种金银花与野生种全银花亲缘关系较近,栽培种金银花较野生种金银花的进化程度高.
