Objective:To investigate the expression of Survivin and Bax protein in esophageal squa-mous cell carcinoma ( ESCC) tissue and their relations with the clinicopathalogical features and the prognosis. Methods:The expression of Survivin and Bax in 58 cases of ESCC were detected by immnohistochemical staining. Results:The positive rates of Survivin and Bax in ESCC tissue were 77. 6% and 43. 1%, respectively. The positive expression rate of Survivin was correlated with the differentiation (P<0. 05), but not correlated with gender, age, the depth of invasion, lymphatic metastasis, clinical stage, and overall survival time (OS) (P>0. 05). The positive expression rate of Bax was not correlated with gender, age, the depth of invasion, lymphatic metastasis, clini-cal stage, differentiation and OS (P>0. 05). The expression of Survivin was not correlated with Bax ( P>0 . 05 ) . Conclusion: High expression of Survivin protein in ESCC was correlated with the differentiation of cancer cells, It may play an important role in the progression of ESCC.%目的::检测Survivin和Bax蛋白在食管鳞癌组织中的表达情况,探讨其与临床病理特征及预后的关系。方法:采用免疫组织化学( SP)法检测58例食管癌患者鳞癌组织中Survivin和Bax蛋白的表达。结果:Survivin和Bax蛋白在58例患者鳞癌组织中的阳性表达率分别为77.6%和43.1%,Survivin蛋白的表达与分化程度密切相关(P<0.05),而与性别、年龄、浸润深度、淋巴结转移、临床分期及OS无明显相关(P>0.05)。 Bax蛋白的表达与性别、年龄、浸润深度、淋巴结转移、临床分期、分化程度及OS均无明显相关( P>0.05)。 Survivin和Bax蛋白的表达无相关性(P>0.05)。结论: Survivin蛋白在食管鳞癌组织中呈高表达状态,与分化密切相关,可能在食管鳞癌的进展过程中起重要作用。
