Carbon nanotube (CNT)reinforced aluminum-matrix composites were prepared by powder metallurgy combined with hot-rolling.The effect of carbon nanotube content on microstructure and mechanical properties of the composites was investigated.The results show that hardness and tensile strength of the composites can be obviously improved due to the addition of CNTs.The hardness and tensile strength of the composites with 1.5% CNTs by mass reached 93.33 HB and 298.23 MPa,being about 15.4% and 33.4% higher than those of aluminum matrix, respectively.From fracture morphology of the composites it will be seen that the fracture form of pure aluminum is ductile fracture,and the fracture form of the CNTs/Al-matrix composits is brittle fracture.%采用粉末冶金与热轧相结合的技术制备了碳纳米管增强铝基复合材料。研究了碳纳米管含量对复合材料显微组织和力学性能的影响。结果表明,碳纳米管的加入明显提高了复合材料的硬度和抗拉强度。碳纳米管含量为1.5%(质量分数)的复合材料的硬度和抗拉强度达到了93.33 HB 和298.23 MPa,比铝基体分别提高了约15.4%和33.4%。复合材料的断口形貌显示,纯铝的断裂方式为韧性断裂,CNTs/Al 基复合材料的断裂方式为脆性断裂。
