金衡山教授的新作《印迹深深:冷战思维与美国文学和文化》是解读冷战时期的美国文学和文化的又一力作.它围绕冷战思维这一内化的美国集体逻辑,从政治辞令、文学想象、大众文化多个层面探究了冷战时期美国无处不在的意识形态对抗.此外,《印迹深深》采用的跨学科视野和多元互文的研究方法也为从历史、社会、政治的角度研究文学和文化提供了一个成功的范例.%Jin Hengshan's 2017 book Ubiquitous Traces:The Cold-War Mentality and American Literature and Culture is a breakthrough in the studies of American literature and culture during the Cold-War period.Taking the Cold-War mentality as an internalized American collective consciousness, it examines the ubiquitous ideological confrontations from various dimensions, such as political rhetoric, literary imagination and popular culture.Moreover, adopting a multidisciplinary and intertextual methodology, this work provides a valuable guidance to the practice of interpreting literature and culture through the lens of historical, social and political studies.
