For vocational schools PLC teaching, the main focus on the ladder diagram, Instruction List, Sequential Function Chart programming, while ignoring the overall design of the PLC controlling system, causing the students can not really learn the PLC. By a complete design instance of simulating crossroads traffic light system on the remote monitoring and controlling, based on $7-200 Programmable Logic Controller （PLC） of Siemens and KingView 6.53. It describes the effect of the system design in the learning of PLC courses. It is favourable for further motivating students＇ initiative of self-independent studying and for comprehensively understanding and mastering of theoretical knowledge so as to make students really master PLC.%针对当今职业院校PLC教学中，主要侧重于梯形图、语句表、顺序功能图的程序设计．而忽略了PLC控制系统的整体设计，造成学生不能真正学懂PLC的问题，通过一个完整的基于S7—200可编程控制器和组态王6．53软件的远程监控十字路口交通灯模拟系统设计实例，阐述了学生完成系统设计在PLC课程学习中的作用在于。有利于进一步调动学生自主学习的积极性，有利于全面理解和掌握理论知识，使学生真正掌握PLC。
