IP多媒体子系统(IMS)是一种全新的网络体系结构,为下一代网络提供丰富的多媒体业务。3GPP R6标准指出互联网协议第6版(IPv6)和会话发起协议(SIP)是IMS的默认协议。因此,IMS网络需要互通基于SIP的其他互联网协议(即IPv4)。文章引入会话边界控制器(SBC),以支持IMS核心网和客户端之间的互通,并提出了SBC的体系架构和工作原理,研究了检测容错问题的一种分析模型。%IMS is a new network architecture for providing multimedia service in the next generation networks. 3GPP R6 standards speci-fied that both IPv6 and SIP are default protocols. Therefore, IMS network needs to inter-work with other IPv4-based SIP net-works. It introduces a SBC between IMS core and clients to handle the inter-working, and presents the architecture and work-ing principle of SBC. An analytic model is proposed to investigate the fault tolerance issue.
