未来网络架构的成本分析

     

摘要

Facing the problem of big data processing in the new era of communication, two complementary architectures, software-defined networking (SDN) and network function virtualization (NFV), are gradually being developed to solve some network problems more comprehensively.However, this new structure is still unknown, and it is uncertain whether it can really bring about cost savings.Currently, testing future networks requires a lot of costs.Compared with the existing 4 G network hardware technology, we establish a mathematical model based on the network function of virtualization.Taking the number of sessions supported by the router and the number of service providers as various considerations, we adopt parameters with reliability to simulate some of the multivariable factors in the actual problem, abstracting the complex practical problems in mathematics, v erifying the critical value of the number of sessions supported by a certain router.When higher than this critical value, the required network cost drops sharply, far lower than the cost from the traditional network.At the same time, it is also verified that the more the number of service providers, the more the cost savings, which demonstrates the cost-effectiveness of adopting SDN/NFV technology.%面对通信新时代大数据处理的问题, 软件定义网络 (SDN) 和网络功能虚拟化 (NFV) 两个互补的架构正在渐渐发展起来, 以更全面地解决一些网络问题.但是这种新架构还是未知因素, 不确定是否真的能带来成本的节省.目前如果对未来网络进行测试需要大量成本.与现有的4G网络硬件技术相比, 文中基于虚拟化的网络功能建立了一种数学模型, 以路由器支持的会话数和服务提供商的数量为多种考虑情形, 采用具有可靠性的参数来模拟实际问题中的一些多变因子, 将复杂的现实问题数学抽象化, 验证了存在某个路由器所支持的会话数的临界值, 当高于这个临界值时, 所需要的网络成本急剧下降, 远远低于传统网络的所需成本.同时也验证了当服务提供商数量越多时, 成本节省得越多, 证明了采用SDN/NFV技术在成本上的可行性.
