一种虚拟阵列扩展解相干的DOA算法

     

摘要

In practicalarray signal processing, due to the affection of multipath propagation and other factors, there are a large number of coherent signals. However, the mostly existing decorrelate DOA algorithms will sacrifice the effective array aperture. In such cases, this paper presented a modified Spatial Smoothing (SS) algorithm based on virtual array extension, called Virtual-array SS (VSS). It utilized the non-circular symmetry of the incident signal to extend the original array effectively, and supplied a virtual signal array. Finally, we introduced a MUSIC-like algorithm such as Forward-backward SS (FBSS) to process this virtual array and analyse its direction finding performance. Simulation results confirm the theoretical analysis and indicate the effectiveness of the VSS algorithm, especially on decorrelation.%在移动通信阵列信号处理中,由于多径传播等因素的影响,存在大量相干信号源,现有解相干DOA算法大多会损失阵列的有效孔径,而阵列孔径大小直接限制了空间分辨率及所能估计的信号源个数.针对上述情况,提出一种虚拟阵列扩展的改进双向空间平滑算法(Virtual-array SS,VSS),利用入射信号的非圆对称性,阵列扩展后得到新的虚拟阵列,并做相应的预处理后再利用双向空间平滑算法对该虚拟阵列进行处理.大量仿真结果表明,VSS算法是一种具有高分辨率、高统计稳定性、计算量相对增加较小的解相干DOA算法.
