支持码率平滑的嵌入式移动视频编码系统

         

摘要

Aiming to resolve the rate-matching issue between H.264 encoders and DMB systems, an ARM based design and implementation of H.264 video encoding system with output bitrate smooth scheme is proposed. To meet the requirements of rate smoothing, a flexible and configurable block ring buffer structure is used. By using RAM recourses of ARM platform efficiently, the total cost of proposed system is reduced. The experimental results demonstrate that the output bitrate of the proposed system is stable with low FrameLoss-Ratio and low latency, which significantly reduce the input buffer size of channel-side systems.%针对H.264信源编码器与DMB系统接口速率匹配问题,设计并实现了一种支持码率平滑的ARM嵌入式H.264视频编码系统.为满足码率平滑需要,缓冲器设计采用了灵活、可配置的块式环状缓冲结构.通过充分利用APM平台的RAM资源,有效节约了总体系统成本.实测结果表明,该系统输出码流速率平稳,对信道端系统的输入缓冲区的容量要求显著降低.该系统具有丢帧率低,延时小的特点,达到了预期设计目标.
