QoS驱动的虚拟集群自适应负载均衡算法

         

摘要

The load balancing algorithm of virtual cluster influences QoS.To solve this problem,a QoS-aware adaptive load balancing algorithm for virtual cluster was proposed.Two control loops were designed including QoS and load balancing.QoS control loop,as the inner control loop,triggered system resource regulation at the request of QoS,to ensure service performance of application layer in virtual machine.While the load balancing control loop,as the outer control loop,controlled the migration of virtual machines within the domain according to the resources utilization of the host machine,so as to realize the macroscopic load balancing of the whole virtual cluster system.The cooperation of those two control loops can simultaneously handle QoS and load balancing issues.Experimental results show the proposed algorithm can both ensure QoS and balance system loads.%虚拟集群的负载均衡机制对服务质量QoS (quality of service)造成影响,针对此问题,提出一种QoS驱动的负载均衡算法(QoS-aware adaptive load balancing algorithm,QALBA),设计QoS与负载均衡两个控制回路.QoS控制回路作为内层控制回路,根据服务的QoS要求驱动资源分配,保证虚拟机中应用层服务的性能;负载均衡控制回路作为外层回路,依据宿主机的资源利用率控制虚拟机的迁移,实现集群系统的宏观负载均衡;通过两个控制回路的协作,同时处理QoS保障与负载均衡问题.实验结果表明,该算法能够在保证服务的QoS的前提下有效均衡系统负载.
