车牌识别系统中边缘检测及算法研究

automatic license plate recognition dete ction is an important part of intelligent transportation system, has a very broad application prospects. The license plate image preprocessing is an important link in the vehicle license plate recognition system;pretreatment performance plays an important role in the recognition of license plate detection. This paper introduces several common edge detection operators, different sensitivity of different; verify the different types of edge extraction algorithm, edge sensitive operator with different detection.%车牌自动识别检测是智能交通系统的重要组成部分，具有十分广阔的应用前景。车牌图像预处理是在汽车牌照识别系统的一个重要环节，预处理性能对车牌识别检测具有重要作用。介绍了几种常用的边缘检测算子，不同敏感性不同，验证了不同类型的边缘提取算法，采用不同的边缘敏感算子进行检测。
