Constraint programming, which is a new technology applied to the production scheduling problem, is briefly introduced from the two aspects of modeling and solving. The technology is compared with mathematical programming and is testified by the experiment of parallel machine scheduling problem.%从问题建模和求解技术两个方面介绍了应用于生产调度问题中的新兴技术——约束规划,同时将该技术与数学规划技术作了比较,并应用平行机调度问题进行实例验证.
