SZ相位编码与批处理退距离折叠的比较分析

     

摘要

Range ambiguity is an inherent problem of the pulse Doppler weather radar. For X band radars whose wavelength is shorter, the ambiguity is particularly serious. At the beginning, the principles of two mitigative range ambiguity algorithms, batch and SZ phase coding, are presented. Then comparison is done with their clutter suppression capability, applicable elevation, scan time, and algorithm complexity etc. Moreover, according to their actually sampled X band radar echo signal, the effect of their mitigative range ambiguities are compared. Then conclusion is drawn that the effects of SZ phase coding is obviously superior to batch since despite of its more sophisticated calculation, it not only satisfies the real-time processing requirement but also is free to all elevations.%距离折叠是脉冲多普勒天气雷达的固有问题,波长较短的X波段雷达折叠尤为严重.首先给出两种退距离折叠算法批处理和SZ相位编码的原理,然后对它们的杂波抑制能力、适用仰角、扫描时间、算法的复杂性等进行比较,并根据实际采集的X波段雷达回波信号,比较它们退距离折叠的效果.得出以下结论;SZ相位编码退距离折叠的效果明显优于批处理,虽然其运算较批处理复杂,但满足实时处理的要求,且不受扫描仰角的限制.
