Abstract Traditional approaches for monitoring eco-environment cannot meet the requirement in macroscopic regional eco-environmental variation surveillance. To address this issue, with the framework of spatial information service and the specific needs oriented towards monitoring and evaluating regional eco-environment, we use in our research the remote sensing inversion and GIS-based spatial analysis as well as ArcEngine middleware on Microsoft . NET platform to have implemented the remote sensing image and vector data browsing, spatial analysis, thematic map making and the organisation and management functions for massive spatial data; with the use of remote sensing inversion modules developed by IDL (Interactive Data Language) , the remote sensing extraction of eco-environmental key parameters is achieved, and the operating system oriented towards the needs of regional eco-environment surveillance and evaluation has been constructed. The system realises the storage and management of massive spatial data and the inversion of eco-environmental key parameters with the means of remote sensing conveniently and accurately. Moreover, it can generate corresponding spatial information products of eco-environment surveillance according to the requirements and therefore provides technical support for the protection and surveillance of eco-environment within the region.%针对传统生态环境监测方法难以满足宏观区域生态环境变化监测需要的问题.基于空间信息服务理念,面向区域生态环境监测与评价的具体需求,应用遥感反演和GIS空间分析技术,在Microsoft.NET平台上,利用ArcEngine中间件实现了遥感影像数据和矢量数据的浏览、空间分析、专题图制作以及海量空间数据组织和管理功能;利用IDL(Interactive Data Language)开发的遥感反演模块,实现了生态环境关键参数的遥感提取,构建了面向区域生态环境监测与评价需求的运行系统.系统实现了海量空间数据的存储和管理,比较方便和准确地通过遥感手段反演关键生态环境参数,并根据需要生成相应的生态环境监测空间信息产品,从而为区域内生态环境保护和监测提供了技术支撵.
