At first, the paper introduces the ordinary link method of mixed programming with VC and Matlab based on COM technology. Then according to actual requirements in digital image processing, it detailedly discusses the mutual transmission of data in multidimensional arrays between VC and Matlab. Finally it makes comparison on the computation speed of the algorithm in two compilers. The engineering application results show that the COM-based mixed programming with VC and Matlab is stable at performance and speedy at execution. It greatly reduces the developers' manual coding and mistakes.
