To study the mechanism of the blackouts in power systems ,we propose an impedance‐based topological model and cascading failure mechanism model for weighted power grid .Consid‐ering both node and edge differences a new network structure entropy is defined to quantitatively describe the faults evolution and unbalanced distribution of power network structure .Simulation results on the New England 39‐bus system and IEEE118‐bus system indicate that power network structure entropy has important influence on the spread of cascading failures .The smaller net‐work structure entropy is ,the more load loss in power system .% 为研究大规模互联电网连锁故障的发生机理,选取输电线路的电抗值作为线路权重,建立电网加权拓扑模型,定义综合考虑节点和边差异性的加权网络拓扑模型结构熵的概念,以此描述故障演化过程中电网拓扑结构的不均衡性。对新英格兰39节点系统和IEEE118节点系统动态仿真实验说明,在连锁故障中,结构熵值的变化规律能较好地表征连锁故障的传播特性,同时结构熵值越小,系统损失负荷越多。
