The sufficient condition that this type of system is asymptotically stable and strictly positive real is deduced, and it is independent of state-delay. Furthermore, the system with uncertainties and control variable is studied. A design method of robust positive real controller is proposed for the system according to the linear state feedback control law. The controller can be easily designed by solving the linear matrix inequality ( LMI) , and the strictly positive real property of the close-loop system is also ensured. An example is analyzed to show that the proposed design method of robust positive real controller is feasible and effective.
