The major task of planning and construction of regional transportation network has changed from highway network to inter-city railway in urban agglomerations of China. The new regional transportation mode means new opportunity and challenge to a city, and the service capacity of a transit hub will play a decisive role in the position of the city in a region, which depends on its bonding degree to the city center. Under the strategic concepts stated above, the overall planning of the layout of railway line of Ningbo in 2030 is conducted, with the special emphasis being given to the combination between the transit hub on intercity railway network and the city center.%对我国的城镇密集地区而言,区域层面交通系统的规划与建设重点已由高速公路网络转变为城际铁路网络.新的区域交通方式对城市意味着新的机遇与挑战.而枢纽能提供的服务能力与城市在区域中的地位有密切的关系.交通枢纽的服务能力则取决于与城市中心的结合程度.在上述战略认知的指导下,对宁波2030年的铁路总图布局做了规划安排,并特别做了对城际铁路上的交通枢纽与城市中心结合的考虑.
