Objective To investigate the diagnostic value of single photon emission computed tomography(SPECT) whole body bone scan for multiple myeloma(MM). Methods 50 patients with MM underwent SPECT whole bone scan and X-ray plain examination. Their examination results were performed the comparative analysis. Results Among 207 lesions in 50 cases, the positive detection rates were 80. 2% (166/207) in SPECT whole bone scan and 60. 87% (126/207) in X-ray plain with statistical difference between the two methods(x2 =85. 27 ,P<0. 01). The rib lesion was more sensitive in radionuclide imaging than X-ray (x2=29. 93 ,P <0. 05) ,and skull lesions were more suitable for X-ray examination(x2 =27. 84 ,P<0. 01). Conclusion SPECT whole body bone imaging has higher clinical application value to diagnose MM and monitor its therapeutic efficacy.%目的 探讨单光子发射计算机断层扫描(SPECT)全身骨显像对多发性骨髓瘤(MM)的诊断价值.
