Objective To study the effects of postauricular injection of methylprednisolone on sudden total hearing loss.Methods Forty-five patients with sudden total hearing loss were retrospectively studied. They were divided into postauricular injection group and non-postauricular injection group. The treatment efficiency and hearing improvement at each frequency were compared between the two groups.Results The hearing improvements for the postauricular injection group were 29.25±5.11 dB HL,32.75±5.07 dB HL,32.50±3.28 dB HL,28.75±3.50 dB HL,24.99±3.75 dB HL,20.99±3.75 dB HL and 19.75±4.24 dB HL at 125, 250, 500, 1000, 2000, 4000 and 8000 Hz, respectively. The improvements for the non-postauricular injection group were 9.60±4.66 dB HL,14.80±4.69 dB HL,14.00±4.22 dB HL,12.80±3.67 dB HL,16.40±3.88 dB HL,11.40±3.88 dB HL and 11.00±2.77 dB HL at 125, 250, 500, 1000, 2000, 4000 and 8000 Hz, respectively. There were significant differences between the two groups in hearing improvements at 125-1000 Hz. The treatment effective rates were 80% and 44% for the postauricular injection group and non-postauricular injection group respectively, showing a significant difference(χ2=6.00,P=0.014<0.05).Conclusion Postauricular injection of methylprednisolone is safe and effective in treating sudden total hearing loss, and the improvements are more significant at low and middle frequencies than those at high frequencies.%目的：研究耳后注射甲强龙治疗全聋型突发性聋的疗效。方法回顾2011年至今收入我院耳鼻喉科的突发性聋病例，选取其中全聋型者45例，按照有无耳后注射甲强龙分为耳后注射组及非耳后注射组，分别比较两组治疗有效率及治疗前后各频率提高幅度。结果在125、250、500、1000、2000、4000、8000 Hz各频率，耳后注射组听力提高值依次为29.25±5.11 dB HL，32.75±5.07 dB HL，32.50±3.28 dB HL，28.75±3.50 dB HL，24.99±3.75 dB HL，20.99±3.75 dB HL，19.75±4.24 dB HL；非耳后注射组听力提高值依次为9.60±4.66 dB HL，14.80±4.69 dB HL，14.00±4.22 dB HL，12.80±3.67 dB HL，16.40±3.88 dB HL，11.40±3.88 dB HL，11.00±2.77 dB HL。两组比较125 Hz～1 kHz各频率听力提高值差异有统计学意义（P<0.05）。耳后注射组和非耳后注射组治疗有效率分别为80%和44%，差异有统计学意义（χ2=6.00，P=0.014<0.05）。结论耳后注射甲强龙治疗突发性聋安全有效，可显著提高全聋型突发性聋治疗有效率，而且对低中频听力的提高贡献明显。
