With its ecological, landscaping and economic benefits, vertical greening has increasingly become a significant part in the overall greening development in high-density cities. After pilot demonstration, activity promotion and improvement of consciousness, Shanghai firstly proposed vertical greening development masterplan, making it a part of the urban greening system plan. This paper analyzes the backgrounds of Shanghai's bringing forward of the plan, depicts the definition, framework and characteristic contents of the masterplan, and arouses meditation for readers on the planning and development of vertical greening in the future.%立体绿化以其所能发挥的生态、景观、经济等多方面效益,在高密度的城市逐渐成为绿化整体发展的重要组成部分,在经历了示范试点、活动推动、意识提高的过程以后,上海首先提出编制城市立体绿化发展规划,并纳入城市绿化系统规划;研究分析了上海编制立体绿化的背景需求,叙述了上海立体绿化专项发展规划的定位、框架、特色内容,也提出了今后立体绿化规划编制及发展的思考.
