A shipwreck site of the Yuan Dynasty was found near the reefs of Shiyu Island in the 2010 annual underwater archaeological survey of the Paracel Islands, in which a number of blue and white porcelain have been found. Those blue and white porcelains with a large amount have a variety of types and shapes. They are similar with the egg-white glazed porcelain discovered from the same shipwreck in terms of the body, glaze and production technique, as well as the shapes of bowls and cups. The underglazed blue colour is bright and vivid, and the designs are smooth and diversified. According to preliminary research, the blue and white porcelain should be productions of the Jingdezhen kiln with imported cobalt in the late Yuan Dynasty and were exported to Southeast Asia or further areas.%2010年，西沙群岛水下考古调查中，在石屿礁盘附近发现了一处元代沉船遗址，出水了一定数量的青花瓷器。这批元青花数量较多，类别丰富，形制多样。胎、釉与制作工艺与同时出水卵白釉瓷器相似，而碗、杯的器形也一样。青花色泽多明艳，线条流畅飘逸，纹样内容丰富。经初步研究，这些元青花应为元代晚期景德镇窑采用进口钴料烧造而成，是外销到东南亚或更远地区的瓷器产品。
