Novel coronavirus pneumonia,dubbed COVID-19 by WHO,could be reckoned as the most devastating plague ever since Black Death in 1918 which claimed around 25 million lives then.Up to date,the number of infected cases globally with the coronavirus has spiked to 12.52 million with death toll exceeding 557,000 and there is still no sign to a halt.The disruption and destruction to our normal lives and global economy by COVID-19 are immeasurable.Efforts to prevent the disease from spreading have led to business closures,school closures,cancelled vacations and graduations.Responses to coronavirus have changed the way governors govern,workers work,teachers teach,learners learn,and actor act but at the same time we have also witnessed heroic stories of people helping each other,soothing and caring for each other,which is to some extent an emotional relief from the distress suffered for months.
