Targeted Poverty Alleviation Through Intangible Cultural Heritage: Shanxi''''s Practices

The Cultural and Tourism Department of Shanxi Province has adopted the safeguarding and transmission of the intangible cultural heritage(ICH)as an important measure to achieve targeted poverty alleviation in recent years.A new pattern for poverty alleviation has been introduced through ICH safeguarding and transmission,not only increasing incomes for the poor but also bringing fresh vitality to traditional skills.
