Song Brocade represents the finest traditional craftsmanship of silk in China.Song Brocade has become an outstanding type of brocade since Song Dynasty,and Suzhou boasts of the best Song Brocade all along.Renowned for exquisite craftsmanship and profound cultural value,it was listed as a UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage item during the 4th session of the Inter-governmental Committee for the Safeguarding of the Intangible Cultural Heritage.
