@@ CNOOC, one of China's three oil giants, announced on April 30 that its pre-audited business income in the first quarter of 2003 dramatically jumped to 7.5 billion yuan (US$906 million), up 87.3 percent from the same period of the previous year. The strong growth can be attributed to the production increase and the oil price hike.
