Objective To explore the clinical teaching effect of 3D printing model technology in clinical teaching of operation for developmental hip joint dislocation. Methods We selected 28 students of fifth grade from the Fourth Military Medical University who were interns in Department of Pediatric Orthopedic of Chinese PLA General Hospital in 2017. The conventional teaching plan was used in control group while the conventional teaching plan with 3D printing model teaching was used in experimental group. The teaching effect evaluation indicators included clinical data analysis and teaching-related factor analysis. We recorded data of the two groups and made statistical analysis. Results Experimental group significantly outperformed control group in accurate judgment of the femoral neck anteversion and collodiaphysial angle (P<0.05). Although there was no significant difference in understanding of disease concept and judging the direction of hip joint dislocation, experimental group had a higher numerical value than control group. Besides, the questionnaire survey results of teaching effect showed that experimental group was significantly superior in students' learning interest, learning efficiency and attention (P < 0.05 ). Conclusion Application of 3D printing model can bring good teaching effects in clinical teaching of developmental hip joint dislocation.%目的探讨3D打印模型技术在儿童发育性髋关节脱位手术中的临床教学效果.
