A new method to generate multi--point forming(MPF) surface was presented based on triangular mesh herein. The CAD software for construction of MPF die surface was developed using Visual C++ platform. It could directly read the triangular mesh data given by STL, finite element and so on. A three--dimensional model was reconstructed rapidly by OpenGL. Moreover, the die surface for MPF with elastic cushion was set up by using the offset surfaces described by finite element nodes.Precision analyses for typical parts show that the method is of high precision and fast speed, and the software can be used to model complex surfaces.%提出一种基于三角形网格的多点成形曲面的生成方法,使用Visual C++软件平台开发了构建多点模具型面的CAD软件,该软件能够读取CAD数学模型的三角形网格数据,如STL文件和有限元离散的数据文件等,并借助于OpentGL图形技术快速实现了三维曲面的重构.应用等距面方法解决了使用弹性垫多点成形时的模具型面生成问题.典型件的精度分析结果表明,该方法计算精度高、速度快,成形效果好,满足工程上的需要,适用于复杂的三维曲面成形.
