Experiments on three kinds of composite foam core sandwich structures under flatwise compression and shear were present herein. Unstitch foam,lock-stitch foam and Tufting stitch foam sandwich structures were produced using the same face materials in order to study the stitch methods how to influence the mechanical property and failure modes. The experimental results show the significant increase in the strength and modulus of flatwise compression and shear of the stitched foam sandwich structures. Different stitch methods brought the different extent increases of the stitched structures. Tufting stitch is better than lock-stitch in the increasing of the strength and modulus. The results can be used in structural design and theoretical analysis.%选用3种相同材料制造的复合材料泡沫夹层结构形式(未缝合、锁式缝合和达夫汀缝合),进行了面外压缩(平压)和面内剪切两项试验,研究了缝合方法对缝合夹层结构力学性能和破坏模式的影响.试验数据和观察结果表明,泡沫夹层结构缝合后较未缝合结构,面外压缩和面内剪切的强度和模量均得到了极大提高;不同的缝纫方法使得结构强度和模量的提高程度不同;达夫汀缝合方式使面外压缩和面内剪切的强度和模量的提高程度均优于锁式缝合方式.试验结果为进一步的结构设计和理论分析提供性能分析数据.
