Objective To analyze and study the clinical effect of the lateral support balloon dilation in the treatment of coronary artery branches. Methods The clinical data of patients with coronary artery branch disease treated by the lateral support balloon dilation in our hospital were analyzed retrospectively. The success rate of operation, postoperative complications and follow-up sta-tus of the patients were observed. Results All the 50 patients in this group underwent the lateral support balloon dilation operation successfully. Of them, 43 patients received the main branch stenting implantation, 7 patients accepted dual main branch stenting implantation. After the operation, only 3 patients of the 50 patients had complications, but no complications such as myocardial in-farction occurred. The result of the follow-up shows that no death occurrs, the prognosis of the patients is good. Conclusion The lateral support balloon dilation operation is an effective method for the treatment of coronary artery branch disease, the effect is significant, the success rate of the operation is high, and the postoperative follow-up shows that the postoperative complications of the patients are seldom, so it is of great value of clinical promotion.%目的：对支架外侧球囊扩张在治疗冠状动脉分支上的临床效果进行分析研究。方法对该院收治的冠状动脉分支病变患者临床接受支架外侧球囊扩张治疗的临床资料进行回顾分析，对其手术成功率、术后并发症和随访情况进行观察。结果该组50例患者在支架外侧球囊扩张手术均获得成功，其中接受主支支架术置入的患者有43例，接受主支双支架置入的患者有7例。术后50例患者中仅有3例患者出现并发症，且未出现心肌梗死等并发症，对其进行随访未出现死亡病例，预后良好。结论支架外侧球囊扩张手术对治疗冠状动脉分支病变效果显著，提高手术成功率，并且通过术后随访发现患者术后并发症较少，是治疗冠状动脉分支疾病的一种有效方法，具有重大临床推广价值。
