旅游业与可持续发展之间有着天然的耦合关系.在阐释旅游可持续发展内涵的基础上,对南阳发展旅游的优势、劣势、机遇和挑战进行了深入分析.作者认为:实现南阳旅游可持续发展必须处理好保护和开发的关系,增强资源保护意识;整合旅游资源,实施精品名牌战略;大力挖掘南阳历史文化,重视历史名人文化游开发;完善现代城市职能,实现旅游开发与城市建设一体化发展;强化管理,全面提升旅游服务质量;加强宣传促销工作,积极开拓客源市场;加快旅游人才培养,妥善使用旅游人才.%There is a kind of coupled relation between tourism and sustainable development naturally. This paper has analyzed the strengths, the weaknesses, the opportunities and the threats in developping tourism in Nan-yang detailly and in depth on the basis of interpreting the connotation of sustainable tourism development, and speci-fies that in order to achieve the sustainable tourism development in Nanyang, firstly, the relationship between protec-tion and development must be coordinated correctly; secondly, the branding strategy in tourism must be implemen-ted according to integrating the tourim resource in Nanyang; thirdly, the development of historical and cultural tourism about the historical figures must be treated as a focus through mining the history and culture of Nanyang; fourthly, achieving the integration between tourism development and urban construction on optimizing city func-tions;fifthly, the service quality in tourism must be improved fully through strengthening tourism management; sixth-ly, strengthening tourism propaganda and expanding tourist markets; finally, speeding up training the workers in tourism and making theirs talent used correetly.
