Object To investigate the clinical significance of allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation(allo- HSCT) following fludarabine(Flu) - based nomnyeloablative conditioning regimen. Methods 7 patients witholder age or organ dysfunction received either of two Flu - based nonmyeloablative conditioning protocols followed by infusion of granulocyte colony- stimulating factor (G- CSF) mobilized allogeneic peripheral bloocl stem cells (PBSC). Cy-elosporin combining methotrexate was used as graft vs host disease (GVHD) prophylaxis. Results Minimal alloHSCT associated toxicity was found apart from mucositis . The allogeneic donor engraftments were verified in all the patients. Six of seven eases survived more than 5 months. Acute GVHD occurred in three of seven patients including a caseof grade 1I GVHD. Conclusion The rapid engrafunent of allo - PBSC and graft vs leukemia (GVL) effects can beobtained by Flu - based nomnyeloablative conditioning regimen. This management is suitable for the patients who are tooold or have organ dysfunction.
