Ozonation treatment of 2,4-dichlorophenol (2,4-DCP) with granular activated carbon (GAC) in a fluid bed reactor was investigated, and enhanced 2,4-DCP decomposition was obtained when GAC amount increased. Higher efficiency of catalytic ozonation could be achieved in acid pH, but the influence of the strength of acid and basic pH could be neglected.
