During Han Dynasty, officials could enjoy a one-day vacation after working five days, they could also ask for a leave. They could deal with many family affairs during the holiday, for example:they could look after their parents, accompany their wives, teach their children. Home life during the holiday could help officials to strengthen their family′s stability and harmony, which they would mainly focus on the relationship with their parents and the relationship with their wives and children.
