简论中国对美公共外交在中美新型大国关系中的作用

摘要

中美新型大国关系的构建是中国对美公共外交实践的重要背景，公共外交是中国开展对美外交中重要的组成部分之一。本文结合对美公共外交实践现状，并以孔子学院、媒体为例，开展对中美新型大国关系构建背景下的对美公共外交作用的分析。中国对美公共外交的积极推进与落实，对于中美关系的顺利发展、亚太地区的和平稳定具有重要意义。%Public diplomacy is a most important part of China’s diplomacy towards the U.S.and the construction of new model of China-US relationship an important background under which it is practiced.This paper analyzes the present status and evalu_ates its function of this public diplomacy in fields of culture exchange and media communication.Actively promoting China’s pub_lic diplomacy toward the U.S.is meaningful for China-U.S.relationship and the stability of Asia-Pacific region.Based on the above analysis,some proposals are put forward to promote the practice of the public diplomacy.
