The purpose of this study was to determine if counselor education faculty and doctoral-level counselor education students have different perceptions of problematic behaviors when evaluating master's-level counselors-in-training. Participants reviewed case scenarios, and evaluated counselor-in-training behavior via the Professional Counseling Performance Evaluation. Doctoral-level counselor education student evaluations and counselor educator behavior evaluations were compared to discern if counselor educators and doctoral-level counseling educator students viewed problematic behaviors differently. No significant results were found when comparing the two groups. Counselor educator evaluations and doctoral-level education student evaluations were similar with responses.
