摘要

The relationship between core self-evaluation (CSE) traits and work-family conflict (WFC) and family-work conflict (FWC) was examined. Participants were 101 university employees and 301 university graduate students. Participants completed an on-line survey consisting of a WFC scale developed by Netemeyer and colleagues (1996) and the Core Self-Evaluation Scale (CSES) developed by Judge and colleagues (2003). Results indicated that more positive CSEs are associated with lower levels of WFC and FWC. However, contrary to previous studies, participants in this study experienced less WFC than FWC. Student status also influenced WFC and FWC, with graduate students experiencing less WFC and FWC than university employees.
