A framework for assessing technology use leading to technology integration in rural school districts.

A small rural school district located in the southeastern part of the United States has been making strides towards the purchasing of school technology and technology integration curriculum tools for teachers in the classroom to enhance and improve quality of education. The local school district administration does not know if teachers are using technology in the classroom. This study will identify school technology that is currently in place and get perceptions from four local groups concerning school technology in recommendation of a framework for technology use leading to technology integration, to make better data driven decisions concerning future school technology and technology integration purchases.
