orporations are increasingly adopting sustainable development principles and expanding sustainability reporting programs to demonstrate value to their stakeholders. Economic value can be realized by enabling more efficient production of goods and reputation can be enhanced by reporting environmental practices. This research utilized content analysis and interviews to evaluate the extent of sustainability reporting among 47 publicly-traded manufacturers in New England.
